BACKGROUND AND SCOPE OF THE PROJECT

The aim was  to develop a mobile application where the public can directly respond to  the  motions debated upon in parliament such that their views are fully represented before laws are enacted.The idea for this project came up after our research, we realized MPs do not consult people from their constituencies for example “marriage and divorce bill  was passed”  and yet  most MPs did not consult their people.  The benefit of  the application was to ensure people’s ideas and views are represented.  Mobile-MP’s goal is to  allow general  public influence  the decisions made by the members of parliament.
